Thomas Worley was born in 1845 at Iver in Buckinghamshire, the son of William Worley 1822-1873 and his wife nee Mary Elizabeth Gurney 1815-1879.
On 2 February 1868 he married Emily Rose de Friere at St George's church, Bloomsbury in London. She was born in 1886 at Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, the daughter of Mark de Freire, a nurseryman. She was a dressmaker.
In 1871 Thomas and Emily Rose Worley were living in New Street in Aylesbury; in 1881 at Hereford Road in Ealing in Middlesex; and in 1891 at 3 Felix Road, Ealing.
They had the following children:
Mark William Worley. He was born on 24 May 1872. When the 1891 Census was taken he was employed as a page. In 1902 he married Sarah Annie Taylor, born in 1875 at Marlborough in Wiltshire. She died in 1935. They had a daughter Rosemary de Freire Worley 1908-1968 and a son Thomas Edgar William Worley (born on 15 February 1910 and died in 1974 at Hillingdon, Middlesex). By 1911 Mark de Freire Worley was a plumber and decorator, living at 30 Leighton Road in West Ealing, Middlesex. He died on 8 June 1938 at Southwark in London.
Ada Worley. She was born in 1874 at Aylesbury. She was a dressmaker. She was unmarried and died in 1938 aged 65 years.
Nellie Worley. She was born in 1877 at Hanwell in Middlesex. She was a dressmaker. She was unmarried and died in 1918 aged 41.
Their mother Emily Rose Worley died in 1894.

When the Census was taken in 1911, the widowed Thomas Worley was living with his two daughters at 143 Seaford Road in West Ealing, Middlesex. he and his late wife had three children, all living in 1911. His daughters were both unmarried and were employed as dressmakers.
Their father Thomas Worley died in 1923 aged 78 years.
