James Worley was born on 5 November 1781 at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, the son of William Worley and his wife nee Mary Weedon 1755-1830. He was a shoemaker.
He married Hannah Hill on 11 October 1802 at Chalfont St Giles, in Buckinghamshire.
They had the following children, all born at Chalfont St Giles :
William Worley. He was born in 1803, and baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 6 January 1803. He married Matilda Franklin born in 1803 at Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire on 28 July 1822. They lived at Chalfont St Peter.
Elizabeth Worley. She was baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 29 May 1804. She died in 1879.
Ann Worley. She was born in 1814.
James Worley. He was born in 1815.
Bythiah Worley. She was born in 1816, and died on 10 December 1893.
Their mother Hannah Worley nee Hill died in 1844.
Their father James Worley died in Amersham Workhouse in 1863.
