Jonathan Worley was born on 21 May 1786 at Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire, the son of William Worley and his wife nee Mary Weedon 1755-1830.

He married Lydia Toovey 1786-1865 on 27 November 1806 at Chesham.

They had the following children:

Harriet Worley. Born in 1807, she was married on 11 May 1829 to James Green 1808-1841. She died in 1878.

Mary Worley. Born in 1809, she was married in 1827 to William Stone 1810-1881. She died in 1875.

Daniel Worley. He was born in 1812 and died in 1865.

Bythiah Worley. She was baptised on 17 February 1815 at Chesham. In 1838 she was married to Frederick Dancer 1815-1886 at Amersham in Buckinghamshire. She died in 1892.

Ann Worley. She was born in 1817.

Hannah Mary Worley. She was born in 1819 and died in 1902.

William Worley. Born in 1822, he married Mary Elizabeth Gurney 1815-1879, and died in 1873.

Sarah Worley. She was born in 1825.

Emma Worley. She was born in 1827.

James Worley. He was born in 1830 and died in 1908. He was married three times: to Eliza Green 1833-1861; Martha (maiden surname unknown) 1826-1877; and Eliza Ives (born 1840).

Their father Jonathan Worley had died by 1837.
