William Worley was born in 1803 at Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire, the son of James Worley and his wife nee Hannah Hill. He was baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 6 January 1803.

He married Matilda Franklin on 28 July 1822. She was born in 1803 at Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire.

They lived at Milton Field in Chalfont St Giles, and had the following children:

James Worley. He was born at Chalfont St Peter in 1823.

Mary Ann Worley. She was born at Chalfont St Giles in 1825.

Lucy Worley. She was born at Chalfont St Giles in 1827. She was married to Joseph Keen in 1852, and had ten children. They lived at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.

Joseph Worley. He was born at Chalfont St Peter in 1833.

George Worley. He was born at Chalfont St Peter in 1835.

Elizabeth Worley. She was born at Chalfont St Peter in 1837.

Roseanne Worley. She was born at Chalfont St Peter in 1839. She was married to John Godfrey, a game keeper, born in 1833 at Chalfont St Giles.

William Worley. He was born at Chalfont St Giles in 1842.

Hannah Worley. She was born at Chalfont St Peter in 1844.

Their mother Matilda Worley nee Franklin died in 1864.

When the Census was taken in 1871, widowed William Worley was living with his married daughter Roseanne Godfrey at Silsden, Chalfont St Peter.

He died in 1873 aged 72 years.
