Allan Frederick Norbury was born in 1857 in Manchester, the son of James Craig Norbury and his wife Susannah Anne Leason. James Craig Norbury was a master printer of Withington, Manchester.
He married Helena Maud Kipping in 1886 in Chorlton, Manchester. She was the daughter of James Stanley Kipping 1822-1899 and his wife Julia Du Val.
His brother Ernest Henry Norbury married his wife's sister Rosa Mary Louise Kipping.
Allan and Helena Norbury had the following children:
Douglas Norbury. He was born in 1888.
Maud Norbury. She was born in 1890.
Allan Leslie Norbury. He was born in 1895.
Vernon Norbury. He was born in 1898.
Lawrence Norbury. He was born in 1900.
In 1901 the family were living at Beechwood, Holme Road, Didsbury in Manchester. By 1911 Allan Norbury had retired from business and the family were living at Leighton, Blundellsands, Crosby in Lancashire.
Allan Frederick Norbury died in 1930 aged 73 years at Blundellsands, Crosby.
Helena Maud Norbury died there in 1949 aged 83 years.
