Alfred Eric George Brown was born on 1 December 1904, the son of Alfred Bertie Brown and his wife nee Rose Smith. He was baptised on 5 March 1905 at St John's church in Ealing, Middlesex.
He married Ivy Collins in 1931.
He died in 1993 at Reading aged 88 years.
