William Worley was born in 1729, the son of Richard Worley and his wife nee nee Sarah East.

He married Mary Bab on 21 October 1752 at Farnham Royal in Buckinghamshire. They lived there, and moved in about 1754 to Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire.

They had the following children:

Joseph Worley 1747. He was baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 22 January 1747.

Thomas Worley 1749. He was baptised at Farnham Royal on 14 April 1749.

Mary Worley 1750. She was baptised at Farnham Royal on 18 June 1750.

Sarah Worley. She was baptised at Farnham Royal on 26 March 1752.

Anne Worley. She was baptised at Farnham Royal on 18 May 1753.

William Worley born 1755. He was baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 23 February 1755.

John Worley. He was baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 16 December 1759 (1).

Jonathan Worley. He was baptised at Chalfont St Giles on 20 October 1761 (2).

(1) He was perhaps the John Worley of Chalfont St Peter who married Mary Boddy on 10 October 1777 at Chalfont St Giles.
(2) He was perhaps the Jonathan Worley who married Rebecca Burrows of Chalfont St Giles on 27 January 1786 at Chalfont St Peter.
