James Anlezark was born in Manchester in 1729, the son of James Anlezark 1670-1742 and his wife Jinnet (born 1680). He died at Chester on 24 July 1772.
He married Margaret Ainsworth 1733-1771 and they had the following children:
John Anlezark. He was born in 1753 at Pleasington Hall in Lancashire, and died in 1845.
Jeanetta Anlezark 1756-1841. She was married to William Pilling in Manchester Cathedral on 1 September 1777.
James Anlezark. He was born in 1758 at Ardwick Lane in Manchester, and married Mary Rawson.
Sarah Anlezark. She was born at Pleasington Hall in 1760.
The Reverend Robert Anlezark 1764-1845. He was married three times. First to Elizabeth Ryle, then to Mary Warren and thirdly to Beatrice Bolton.
Ann Anlezark. She was born in 1769, and was married to Richard Shaw. She died in 1841.
Thomas Ainsworth Anlezark. He was born at Pleasington Hall in 1771. He married Ann Starmer 1767-1825 in Australia in 1804, and died aged 63 years at Liverpool, Sydney in New South Wales on 8 April 1834. They had three sons and a daughter.
