Catherine Sarah Gregory was born in Manchester on 10 December 1827, and died on 6 May 1895 at Blackpool. She was married to Richard Hutchinson in Manchester on 22 September 1858. He was a calico sales agent, born in 1796 in Over Darwen, Lancashire and died on 8 May 1862 at Monton in Eccles, Lancashire.

He had been previously married to a wife named Helen (maiden surname unknown) born in 1805, by whom he had the following children:
